Cuando comencé a trabajar en ‘Arte en movimiento’ en octubre de 2014, mi objetivo era retratar la riqueza del panorama artístico español en Londres desde un punto de vista íntimo. Quería mostrar a los artistas en su entorno de trabajo, a menudo en soledad, centrados en un proyecto que no vería la luz en meses e incluso años.
La comunidad española en Londres está creciendo a pasos agigantados y su impronta es cada vez más patente en distintos ámbitos de la capital británica. A pesar de que la oferta es aquí tan amplia y variopinta, podemos ser objetivos al decir que nuestros artistas y creadores van, con los años, haciéndose un hueco en la agenda cultural londinense.

Este fin de semana se inauguró en Madrid la 74 edición de la Feria del Libro de Madrid y no hemos querido perdérnoslo. Entre el 29 de mayo y el 14 de junio podremos disfrutar de la librería al aire libre más grande de España. 368 casetas y 471 expositores entre los que estamos seguros de que encontraremos algo.

Desde finales de los 80 se celebra en Hay-on-Wye, una pequeña población galesa, un festival literario y artístico considerado hoy como el encuentro de literatura más reconocido de Gales. Hablamos del Hay Festival. Desde 1996 se organiza también a nivel mundial y tiene presencia en países como México, Italia, Brasil, Colombia y España a través de sus ediciones internacionales.
